Richelle Noroyon for City Council

Dear Friends

I grew up here and I’m proud to call Santa Cruz my home. My parents owned small businesses and instilled in me a strong work ethic. My first job was delivering the Santa Cruz Sentinel to my neighbors.

After graduating from college, I worked in Los Angeles and San Francisco briefly, but returned to my hometown in my mid-20s to live in and serve the community I love.

Santa Cruz needs individuals who bring both knowledge and experience to the city council. I offer this experience from both the private and public sectors.

I worked at Apple Inc. and the Santa Cruz Operation (SCO), was a district director to California Assemblymember Ira Ruskin and I am currently a member, and past chair, of the Santa Cruz Public Works and Transportation Commission.

Combining my private sector skills with my knowledge of government, I will work hard to break through the roadblocks and improve our city by repairing our streets and public spaces, improving public safety, protecting our environment, teaching visitors to pack their trash when visiting our beaches and creating meaningful economic opportunities.

I would appreciate your vote and ask that you join me in leading Santa Cruz to a brighter future.
